Mauritius on the US red list
Mauritius has been placed in the highest category of the U.S. system of high risk countries of COVID-19. Indeed, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has placed Mauritius on its list of level 4 countries for COVID-19 risks. The United States strongly discourages its citizens from traveling to Mauritius. Those wishing to come to Mauritius must be completely vaccinated and must inform the State Department.
In addition, Saudi Arabia's national airline, Saudia, has suspended flights to Mauritius until the end of the year. At the end of November, it decided to cancel its flights until December 14 and then until December 20. Anyone booked on these flights should be able to get a refund.
