Living area when working in American School Main Campus

Where do you suggest living for convenience and somewhat quiet? Maadi or El Rehab? I'll聽 be working at the American School main campus, as also want to be close.

I think it's closer to El Rehab, but that community looks very "American"聽 Which isn't bad, but is Maadi hone to more Egyptians?

Yes, you mean the AUC campus, I believe Rehab would be more convenient to you in terms of traffic back and forth and it's more into a metropolitan, having expats from USA, Ukraine, Syrians and African too.

Maadi is a classic neighbourhood in terms of streets, buildings and ppl. You got embassies there, old white villas, metro and Cornish. It's a commingle of Egyptians and expats.

I can elaborate more on specifics of any.
