Is there any way to exchange Birr to US Dollar?

Hello everyone. I'm currently in Addis Ababa and my employer sends me Birr but I want to somehow exchange it to USD. I know you can obtain it in what they called black market but do you know any other way? Thanks!

No black markets are the only way. Spacial now there is a shortage of foreign currency in the country.
The current black market rate is
1usd - 35 birr not a good deal but...
