Nepali citizen marrying with Mauritian citizen in Mauritius

Does a Nepali citizen need a wedding visa to go to Mauritius to get married to a Mauritian citizen?

Or, can a Nepali citizen come to Mauritius on a Tourist Visa and get married to a Mauritian citizen in Mauritius?

Also, we both are working and living in the Maldives. There is no Mauritian embassy in the Maldives, if a wedding visa is required, where and how to apply?

Dear Bhavna,

Thank you so much for your response. I went to the same link before, in this link it doesn't say, Nepali citizens need wedding visas but I found one PDF file from the Civil Marriage office dated October 2022. In this file, it says ever should get wedding visa.

That's why I am confused. I am currently working in Maldives And there is no Mauritius embassy in Maldives.
