Hello All

Can someone pls tell me how much i could be charge by airport taxi from the Airport to Curepipe ?
I don't want arranged airport pick up this time around.

Kindly also share with me etiquette rules in Mauritius if u can.

The travelling from airport to other places are quite costly... It's tourist price. From Airport to Curepipe, it will cost you around Rs 1000... I work at the airport and I know how it happens here...

This is the official rate for airport taxis:

I pay 1400MURs to Pereybere with taxismauritius so should be less to Curepipe.聽 Used them for years and very good

What about using one of the transport apps (I forgot the names but something like Uber)? That once I arrive, that I first buy a local SIM and then contact a UBER-like taxi? Would that also be possible and a cheaper option?
