Must read for the new arrivals on the shores of Mauritius. If you are fleeing your country and Mauritius is welcoming you with your open arms, this is the least expected from you. After all no one forced you to come over to Mauritius, as political unrest in your country is not the fault of Mauritius or its citizens. At the end of the day the fact still remains that you will always be refugees regardless of your skin colour or what you think or say.

Things are changing in Mauritius Post Covid to say the least and more people are now wising up to the facts around them, which they did not realise was happening before.

Can agree to that.聽 Im considering myself a refugee from Sweden,聽 which was a good country to grow up in,聽 but has been completely destroyed by mad politicians the last two decades.聽 I dont even consider it a democracy anymore & the worlds probably safest country has become very unsafe. Therefore im planning to relocate to a much more sane country (Mauritius). Combined with a wish for a better life quality.聽 Ill do everything i can to adapt to my new country.聽 Im planning to learn mauritian creol not because i really need to聽 but out of respect to the mauritians. Show respect & thankfulness instead of making demands
