I am a U.S. citizen but have a Douiria in Marrakech and visit a couple times a year for a couple weeks at a time … I am looking to meet other English speaking people who might be interested in meeting for conversation over tea or coffee or a drink or dinner … maybe there is a group that already does this and would welcome a newcomer? Not adverse to one on one conversation either … honestly just looking to make some new friends! I would love to have a plan for Sunday or Monday the 26th or 27th of this month … anyone available?

I am not currently working in Morocco, but I am planning to relocate as I completed my Lean Healthcare Engineering Master's (one class and a capstone) and finish my first year completion of my Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). The sites showcased in the YouTube video are truly captivating, and they have only increased my excitement about the prospect of working abroad again, especially in Africa.

I look forward to contributing and making a meaningful difference in my next role. I would greatly appreciate any research insights or feedback about your experiences in Morocco.

Hi All

I told myself I have to get into more group chats and start to participate. I do good with list, lol.

1. VPN from America - CUBY  Nord VPN Router - allows you to work abroad from Morocco
2. Bank - Revolt card helps but they still don't have the Moroccan dollar on their exchange
3. Bank - CashApp  Card - this has helped me so much - I can transfer money from by USA bank instantly to this card and use it anywhere here even the ATM - I like to use Barid Bank ATM, but I haven't had any issues getting my money out of the ATM's
4. Bank- for larger amounts of money I have used Remitly - This works great!  It's an app you download on your phone - you send money - it takes about 3-4 days depending. Then you go to the Wafa Cash and show your ID and the code and they give you the local currency.
5. Bank:  One of the big issues that Morocco has is getting money from here to USA - So yeah...
6. Atijarhri Bank is a good bank - but they all have some issues with systems going down at times. I would say always have a CashApp card to hold your money away from Banks or Revolt card to transfer money out of Banks that could go down .

Okay so I am wanting to do some small business here in Morocco. Has anyone been able to do any business here?

I’m a Canarian (Spain) professional who truly loves Morocco, and I’m currently looking for an opportunity to relocate and work there.

I hold a university degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, along with administrative certifications and strong sales skills. I also have experience in Human Resources, and I speak Spanish, English, and Italian.
