Having just arrived from Europe, I'd say the local food here is fantastic! Although the vegetarian food does have a meaty after taste ;-)

I am considering to return to Morocco sometime this year, I have already been 3 times previously, the last time i spent 3 months, everything is very affordable and good value for money.

I loved the cafes and restaurants there, and the amazing beaches, surfing in Essaouria was amazing, overall Morocco is a great place to be for fun, the culture, food, atmosphere and the amazing beaches and historical sites.

Was there for a month a couple of days ago.
I think the tourism has taken a dive, only really seen elderly French folks there.

Agadir is maybe not the best location in Morocco to meet young and interesting people in the dead of winter. Although it is warmer in the winter in Agadir than it is in Europe or the USA, Agadir is really a great warm weather location because of the increadable Beach. Even in Morocco in winter the water is a bit cool. Unless you are an avid golfer, in the winter Agadir is a bit quiet for most younger people. So, to get out of the cold in the winter, there really are mostly older retired people spending time there playing golf. Many younger tourists enjoy other winter locations in Morocco.

If you really want to meet young and exciting people in Morocco in the middle of winter, next time you might try coming to the warm weather and hospitality of exotic Marrakech, or checkout the Skiing resorts in Ifrane or Oukaimeden. these are the happening places in the winter!
