Salam aleykum, i am Bulgarian citizen living and working in UK. And i am going inshaallah to marry a moroccon girl in Morocco. I read a lot of the topics about British citizen marrying for Moroccan so i know what documents are needed i am just wondering does any Europenion聽 has experienced this and how is the process and the documents are they similar and the whole process is it聽 easier or more complicated for the Europenion living in UK.聽 Thank you in advance.

Hi the process is pretty difficult however if you have all the papers ready it will save time

Your wife will understand it
Just write that in a document print it聽 and sign it .聽 your wife need to sign it too
It is a document that you declare in it that you both want and agree聽 to marry each other聽 under islamic law and moroccans law

What about the certificate of religion from where i have to take it in case that i am born muslim i am not a revert. Thanks

In case u were born a muslim ur name will be muslim name ! Which mean u wont need a certificate!聽 I guess.
But if it is not i suggest to go to any islamic center in uk and ask for muslim certificate.

My name is Islamic and a I am a born MUSLIM however it was not enough for the Moroccan government. Both my parents were born Muslims, it does not matter.
You will need to take a photo and Say Shaadah then you will be issued a certificate and stamped document with your photo confirming you are Muslim.
I did this process in Mohammedia and it can be done through out Morocco.

I asked my local mosque about that certificate and they didn't know what must be written there. If anyone knows please tell me, so i can let them know. Thanks

Something like that maybe and when u go to morocco translated to arabic !!

Although i am sure if u have a birth certificate has聽 muslim name and ur parent carry a muslim name in it wil be enough
