the trick to negotiating in Lagos is to slash the prices by half especially for cabs or open markets. please dont negotiate in a supermarket or at the cinema, you may be bundled out

Always obey traffic laws even where you see Nigerians disregard them, the enforcement agencies like to use expats as scapegoats in such instances.

Lagos has alot of traffic so employ a driver and save yourself some stress especially during weekdays.
