Clearing personal effects become only a challenge if still doesn't have a work permit or TIN number which are requirements for clearance in Tanzania.
Alternatively you can always get someone who has the mentioned documents and consign the shipment to him/her.

Do you think it is better to seek the help of a contractor to get your belongings cleared in Tanzania?...
