Hi...

You can go to Pines in Pudong, near Carefore. They usually have annapurna/Pillsbury atta. Else u need to visit Bhomi stores in Puxi. I havent yet come across local chinese wheat flour for chapatties..

Prachi
Thanks a lot Prachi. Wow Annapurna and Pillsbury. I am already feeling chapatis in my mouth. :)

Bu there are many Carrefour in Pudong. Where exacly is Pines?

Is Pines a supermarket as well? Is it near some metro station?

Bala
Hi,

Yeah Pines is a super market as well. chiro.com.cn/Contact.html Thats the website and you can check out the one closest to your house. I have been there only once and have completely forgotten which one it was. You can find ready made frozen chapatis/parathas there as well.

Take care,

prachi
Thanks Prachi.
Thats exactly What I did yesterday evening.

Found the Pines Market place at jinqiao. Could not locate the Pillsbury or annapurna atta, but managed to get Organic Whole Wheat Flour, which works for me. It cost CNY19 per Kg.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
Every "City Shop" and "Ole" Market has this stuff. You can find them all over the City. In Pudong City Shop is behind ShangriLa Hotel at the River Side. And down in IFC is also a good Supermmarket where you get all you need.

Just some more sggestions ;-)
Thanks a lot Asmus
