Where to buy train tickets in Vientiane?

Hi,

where exactly in vientiane center can i buy train tickets to LB? Ive walked around for a good 2 hrs amd i have not seen a tourist here. Im here for 3 days amd not sure what to do so may leave to LB ad soon as I can find a place to buy tickets in the city.

According to the article: , the Laos-China Railway ticket office is located on the ground floor of Vientiane Center.

However, I hope someone can confirm this information soon....
