Dealing with wrongdoers

Is there a website where one can name-and-shame wrongdoers? There's this guy, who lives in Sungai Petani and even has a facebook account. He recently removed a couple of grasscutters worth a few hundred ringgit from my possession, said he was going to have them repaired, then disappeared from sight. Making a police report might bring on retribution since he knows where I live. 'Balas dendam' is a well-known Malaysian tactic of dealing with conflict by indirect means.

Warning others about shady characters might be the next best way of dealing with such matters. So this is my course of action.

I would still file a police report. Naming and shaming might be a worse and more dangerous action. You could also just ignore the matter since it was probably partly your own fault for trusting him in the beginning. That would keep you safe and the amount is not actually that big.

iam also a victim of a digital bank transaction, i was living with a pakistani boy who was the half of my age when i open my bank account due to dependent visa process, he got my app password and i think made a mirror of my phone , and transfered 11,000 ringgit in his friend account and his friend transferred that amount to boy touch and go account but due to heavy transaction touch and go blocked his account from now he is an absconder and i dont know his whereabouts , i made a police complaint but they did nothing because we both were foreigners.
