Ny suggestions about necessary things to take along with a kid for a one nught stay there..how wd be the weather...what r the attractions i shdnt miss...thxx

Theres only one casino in Genting. Actually the only casino in Malaysia. I dont recall if theres any kids area in there.
As for weather, it gets very cold at nights. So dont forget to take along some woolens for yourself and the kid.
They have outdoor theme park and indoor theme park. These are places not to be missed for sure. Outdoor one has got some really good rides.
Water rides close by 5PM I think. Additionally if it starts raining (which is quite common), outdoor rides get closed.
Rest all is beautiful landscape and scenery to be watched and admired.
Oh and dont miss the cable car. I went there in a taxi so that I dont have to worry about parking the car in order to enjoy the cable car ride. Taxi from KL to Genting will charge you around 120RM.

If you are driving, there are some nice restaurant on the way up passing bentong area. There are popular for local ginger so if you can get some back for cooking that would be awesome. Of course if you like durian you can enjoy that on the way up. There aren't many things to play in genting and most Malaysian just go up there to get the cold weather and of course for the hardcore gambler that is the one and only "legal" casino.

Thx all...wer back..genting is only worth a day ...a short trip..u hav to enjoy when u reach lol..coz u pay for the taxi...the hotel room...my baby was not allowed to sit in ny ride as he z below the min height...only one family ride..n the only things i loved wer casino..n the cable car..
