Visa for long term stay in Malaysia with remote employment

Hi all,

I am a Vietnamese passport holder. I want to stay in Malaysia while working remotely for an Australian company. What kind of visa can I apply to do this? And is there anything needed from the company ?

There are no such visas in Malaysia. What you ask is impossible in the way you suggest.

They need to set up a company in Malaysia and this is very complex and expensive. They then need to get you a work permit, which can only be processed while you are outside of Malaysia and there is a pandemic on!
