I will reply to my own post - have not flown yet but did all PAL and discussed, you do NOT need a Covid test to fly on the plane out of USA to Philippines.

Sorry to me that is nuts - they as an airline could set a rule I would think but perhaps the usa is so crazy that it has to be the requirements of the destination country.  Some states here are passing laws the schools CANNOT mandate mask wearing in schools public or private....truly obscene...I'lll stop there.

So but for the Delta Variant, I'd not care about my fellow passengers as I can't think of anybody not flying back vaccinated since even illegal aliens can walk into a drugstore here and get Pfizer/Moderna for free (I got 20 buck store credit ea. shot to encourage me..and probably in a lottery as well).

I will post on THE OTHER SIDE just to confirm I made it all the way through without being tested - it does make sense as that is the whole point of quarantine.

I’m sitting at the airport in Atlanta 2 hours before boarding a Delta flight to Manila with a stop in Korea. I bought cheap throw away tickets for the wife and myself but didn’t need them. The lady at check in just asked for our return dates. Here at the gate the Korean chicks asked if we have a 10 quarantine hotel reservation and scheduled swab tests. I told her we did and that was all she needed. So far so good.

I hear you PhilRes. Let us know how it goes. Despite being vaccinated, I cannot enter Phils yet as I do not have a long term or spousal visa.
