Hi dondee31,

I don't criticize other people's usernames and I expect the same in return. That being said, please pass this info on to anyone you know in the Davao area. Thanks a bunch.
Hello Philipperv,

Well you can also add the event here : /en/add-event/asia … nes/davao/

It will appear in the events section and benefit from more exposure.

All the best
Bhavna
Thank you very much.

Do you ever make it to Cagayan de Oro City?
I used to live there before I moved to Davao but am permanent in Davao now.
I saw that in another post, sorry I missed you here.  Could used your help with the VA.
You can call the VA in Manila and ask them to speak to a VSO there. Their toll-free number is 1-800-1-888-5252 from any PLDT telephone.
Do you know anybody in Angeles City who can assist with getting a DD214 and filing for a military pension? Thanks ~
Go to the Retired Affairs Office (RAO) on MacArthur highway right where you see the "Welcome to Mabalacat" sign and ask for Jim Boyd.

Hello Philipperv,

Contemplating moving to Davao and I am currently utilizing the VA health system here in the states. Not Tricare, will I be able to continue health care in Davao or will I need to go Manila for services. I know here there is community care programs when a facility is far from your home Will that apply in Davao?
The Manila Outpatient Clinic has recently contracted out all local care to the Foreign Medical Program. More information can be found here:

Hi Philipperv.... are you still located in Davao? Thanks!
No
Hi Scott,

I'm Mark Davis in California.  I was living there before the pandemic hit.  On March 2, 2020 I came back here to have a procedure done at the VA.  I am a US Navy Veteran with a 100% disability rating.  I would love to meet up with you later this year once I am allowed to come back to Davao.  Thanks.
Sorry Mark I no longer live in the Philippines.

@rlmcar55 I am100percent service connection. Is there a VA clinic in Davao that I can receive my meds from?
@rlmcar55

No you have to register with the VA in Manila and they will ship your meds to you in Davao.
@philipperv Are you still in Davao helping other US Military veterans?
@biongrady

No I am not.
@rlmcar55 Thank you, Scott Rosen!  I'm already enrolled in the VA Healthcare facility in Asheville North Carolina.   My Filipina Wife and I are in the early planning phases to move to Davao City where her Family lives.  We'll be making the move either next Summer or the year after.

We'll both be in Davao in December 2022.  If you're in the area it would be nice to meet up!
@msmichaelstinson161

I may be back around then. Hit me up when you get there.

@philipperv

Hello typeab143,

Welcome to ´ó¿§¸£ÀûÓ°Ôº 1f600.svg

Based the previous messages, I think the office is no longer in Davao.

I suggest you start a new thread on the Davao forum to ask your questions.

Cheers,

Cheryl
