Is it good idea to reach out to MOM

Hi All,

Currently, im still awaiting for my pass to be approved. It was applied last April and after a month, i have received an email from MOM that they will require 3-4 months to check my application to see if聽 fair consideration has been given to workers in Singapore. My employer still doesnt have an update and my application still showing pending status on MOM page.

Hi,

You should tell your employer whatever email you have received; rest is it your first application to work in SG or your already working in SG and switching to another company?

i worked in SG before then trying to come back. They are aware about the email as they were advised by MOM too.

Don't reach out to MOM; it's fine to wait; I think it will take 3 months

MoM is generally believable and trustworthy. So if they say they need 3 - 4 ,months, you can expect that it will take 3 - 4 months!

Yeah, it鈥檚 fine to reach out to MOM. Just be polite and clear about what you鈥檙e asking. They might not reply right away, but it鈥檚 okay to check in if you鈥檝e been waiting for a while.
