Hi, coincidentally I have been going to Beijing 101 for many years and it has totally worked for me....have not been back for a while noe because i dont think i need it anymore and also because i have been travelling a bit. Hi, I have been suffering for hair loss for 8 years and have tried all sorts of treatments.

I have visited a couple of hair centres, namely Svenson and Beijing 101, and none of them worked for me.

Beijing 101
I visited Beijing 101 3 years ago and underwent the same treatment as tkong. Mask, massage, tonic, shampoos. When compared with Svenson, they are considerably cheaper. I do not remember the exact amount that I paid (given that it was a few years ago), prob a few hundred a month. The process is pretty much, 2 times a week, I will visit their hair centre, to get a cleansing treatment, and a massage session to help with "scalp circulation". Then they will prescribe me some shampoos and tonics to be applied at home.

The result was that I felt that my scalp did become less oily. But the treatment did not help with hair growth. It only stopped my hair loss. I stopped visiting them after a year as I felt that by using Minoxidil,I would also get the same effect as going for the herbal treatments at Beijing 101, for a lesser cost.聽

Svenson
I have visited Svenson for the past 2 years for hair weaving and they do not work.

They are money leeches, who will drain you dry of every cent, promising you out-of-this-world results, inducing you to rely on their products which do not work, making you feel terrible at every visit, and trying ridiculous procedures and moving on to the next. You are like a lab mouse.聽

And you heard it here 1st, while I was doing my tightening my hair weave, I actually had this conversation with one of their staff.

Staff: Did you try the hair treatments here?
Me: No. Cause it's too expensive.
Staff: Oh yar, tt's good to hear. Don't say that I said this, but it does not work unless you have a lot of money. I have seen those very rich people who spend a lot of money here, also no results. But you don't say is I say one. You just listen.
Me: Okay. (Make a mental note never to try their hair treatment)
Staff: If you can, you should also take off your hair weave, they charged you very expensive.

That was a year ago. And I wished聽 that I have listened to her then. I have a lot to say about this cause I do not want anyone else to be cheated by this unethical company which is a nothing more than an established con house.

And at 23 years old, thanks to Svenson, the only way that I can replace my hair is via hair transplant.

@ilhtpakistan. Hi, you may want to try Dr. Eileen Tan? I am intending to get my hair transplant procedure done there.聽 I have consulted her and am using her products for a few months. Also heard from someone that SYY does hair transplant, but the results are not too great.

Oh that is so strange cleveland27聟my experience with Svenson have so far been very good.  I have been a client of their for the last 2 years as well as my hair loss problems have been getting from bad to worse.  I must say the trichologists were very professional in diagnosing the causes for my hairloss. They were patient in explaining to me in details my problems and what treatments could help me. 

And the staff administering my treatment was very attentive in helping me monitor my progress. I have seen great reduction in hair falls and also signs of new hair growth.  Since then, I know of people whose been there and had good experiences too so it聮s unfortunate that yours was not.  Perhaps you can talk to them abt your issues  and see how they can help you correct the situation ?

I am also facing the issue. Seems like climate is a major reason. Under hot sun, we get lot sweats which remains inside the head and cause hairs to fall. Not sure if this is correct, just my guess.

I have been suffering hair loss for several years now, found a centre that gives a 100% guaranteed for hair growth, 2 mths into it and find it quite good, hair loss has stopped and there are small sign of hair growth. Don't trust those blood sucking like beijing 101 who reaps you off your money and forces you to buy their products. This centre only treats your hair and don't sell you any other products.

Hi there. Hair loss. It can happen for several reasons.聽 Stress, smoking and not enough sleep. That also depends on聽 your age.聽 Im not a hair expert but i can tell you a thing or two on my experience. I was worried i was losing hair but my hair is naturally thin not thick. I have bought many expensive shampoos but to no avail but i聽 tried a herbal shampoo and oil from India which is not very expensive it did help actually and it had no pungent or strong smell it was mild and fine and it did make my hair look better healthier and stronger.聽 Franch Oil has a few types for dandruff control for hair loss you can get it off the shelf in little india but how i got them was cos my stepdad has a wee shop in bishan and i just got them to support him initially but well i have recommended to my working colleagues to who are chinese and they are loving it too cos there is no atrocious smell and you just have to use it once or twice a week for a min of 20 mins and of course the longer聽 you use it the better overnight...hope this helps...

DO NOT go to Yun Nan!!! The prices are exorbitant and there are no visible results. Not sure about Beijing but I haven't heard too much negative reviews on them, I think they might actually be effective but the price puts people off.

The best is to see a skin doctor, I went to the National Skin Centre because I had moderate alopecia (patchy baldness) and my hair all grew back within a month. Okay, alopecia isn't the usual male-balding pattern hair loss most of you might be dealing with, but my point is that as wtih any balding problem, please just go see a doctor!

I know this will then be "chemical" (medical) treatment, but with herbal treatment you NEVER get 100% guaranteed results, plus it can be less effective too, even if you do see results. My dad had male-balding hair loss and he went to a TCM doctor and there were significant results -- I guess here it's kind of herbal? But if you want reassurance then Western medicine doctors are your best friend here.

I have been through hair loss issues for a few years now. My dermatologist strongly advised not to waiste time and money in so called clinics here offering herbal and massage treatments, but I was still desperate to find a way to have my hair back as it was getting very bad. There are the popular chains like Beijing101 but I know someone who works for one of these hairloss specialists and says it doesn't work at all... So i am very doubtful. Still i dont think they will stay in business if there is no benefits at all. I think the Chinese herbal shops might be able to direct u to some solutions. Or there's the medical treatment via clinics. I have no personal experience though. So let us know how u go with this

I recently went to Beijing 101 after receiving a free voucher at a roadshow. I am 35 years old & having hair loss since about 6 mths back. I was sceptical at first as I have read some bad reviews about these beauty companies, be it slimming, hair care, skin care etc. I decided to give it a try though after receiving the voucher since it聮s complimentary anyway.

So I fixed an appointment at their Funan outlet after my work. I was greeted by their staff (which in my opinion was very sincere) when I went in & I was ushered in to a consultation room to do a hair analysis. The results showed that I have an oily scalp & with congestions everywhere. It looked kinda disgusting & the manager followed by explaining my condition & advice me on how my diet, lifestyle may affect my hair condition bla bla. 
I proceeded to another room whereby I was given a hair mask, with a herbal scent that felt cool & icy. After letting the mask seep in for around 20 mins, I was given a thorough cleaning of the hair followed by their signature massage. It is supposed to improve blood circulation to your head, which I supposed will promote hair growth ( blood is supposed to carry nutrients). I must really compliment the massage as it was simply SHIOK! In fact it is so good that I almost fall asleep from the massage. Throughout the whole session, their staff did indeed try to sell me some packages, but I was quite hesitant & keep saying that I needed to consider with my wife first as the packages are not exactly cheap. There was no 聯black face聰 shown by the staff & they didn聮t forcefully try to psycho me into signing package like what I read up in some of the common forum comments.

To conclude, my hair felt much lighter, cleaner & refreshed after the 1st treatment & my scalp was much clearer when they scanned my hair at the end. I am impressed by their professionalism, the effectiveness of their treatment in just 1 session as well as well as their friendly service. Well, I am still considering whether to invest money on hair-care though ( I have a kid & car to raise), but I will definitely go to Beijing 101 if I choose to.
