Clarity needed on Singapore to Malaysia travel

Hi Guys.

I am working in Singapore and I am EP holder. two days before I took my mom and brother in tourist visa and my brother will travel to Malaysia on Monday (16 Sep) and he will come back and pick my mom back to India.

Unfortunately ICA officer asked so many questions on the reason for my brother stay in Malaysia and they took him to room and asked so many questions like why he didn't take his family and why is staying in Malaysia for 25 days.

My brother actually got job offer in Malaysia and his company asked him to come in tourist visa initially then they will apply for EP.

Actual plan is my bro will come back from Malaysia on oct 10 and will go back to Malaysia as he got multientry visa valid for 1 year.
During Diwali time he will come to Singapore and fly back to India.

now I am really confused what to do. will they deny entry for my brother to Singapore on his return?

Instead coming and going so many times, why he is not taking flight from KL to India? Why your brother wants to come here so often despite of him knowing that ICA is going to grill him? There must be a valid reason to visit here and both visiting you & taking flight from Singapore to India are not good option (as he is not coming first time to Singapore). Good luck
