Hello, there are already thousands of scooters for rent in Pattaya

I remember an auful visit to puket (No, I do mean puke - I hated the place)

It was in the may after the tsunami so a lot quieter than you would expect, but the place was infested with four things

• Scooter hire shops
• Jetski hire shops
• Tuk tuk drivers that were more annoying than mosquitoes wanting your blood for tea
• prostitutes hanging out of bars trying to sell you AIDS

I have never been to Pattaya, but a quick search on Google maps says there are plenty of established shops.

However, before you even look at that, is a French person allowed to open a small business that directly competes with locals?
