We invite all the ones who got married in Uzbekistan or who are about to get married in Uzbekistan to participate in this thread

What are the formalities to get married in Uzbekistan? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of Uzbekistan)?

Are the procedures complicated?

How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

i can't say much about the formalities, only that it's difficult.
For example we are currently waiting for my "invitation" to come, so that i can get the right visa to get married to my ouzbek fianc茅e. problem is the invite alone takes 3 months. meaning we have to wait 3 months apart without even being the slightest bit sure that the invitation will be granted (or the visa after that).
