If you can afford it, the Vinmec healthcare system is available in HCMC, H脿 N峄檌 and 膼脿 N岷祅g, along with a number of other locations in Vi峄噒 Nam:

Their is especially impressive to me (a retired Registered Nurse)

I'd also opt for vinmec, by far the best from all I've seen!

Vinmec. (Link)

I concur. Certainly less expensive than FV Hospital in Saigon, English speaking staff always available, online inquiries I've made were followed up by a phone call to me. Very nice.

Just on a side note, while I have no doubt abt Vinmec, at the end of the day, once even they reach their limits, Cho Ray is the place you'll be transfer too.

Despite all, they have the experts and equipment to take care of nearly anything a medical institution might be able to offer.

And just in case you ever get bitten by a cobra or so, forget all other places and head straight to Cho Ray (if in South VN)

FV, no comment needed, just better to avoid

For residents living District 7, FV is recommendation. Their service is quite good,聽 clean, and kindly.

I'll have to settle for Vinmec.

Cho Ray might be terminally far for me to travel to from Phu Quoc.

There's also a clinic, which is well equipped to deal with

snake/spider/centipede/whatever injuries. They're found in many locations in VN, but in my experience the clinics are more suited to local citizens.

Off topic, but I wanted to add the following. Apologies to member annemcdannels1.

I pulled a recently moulted cobra skin from inside one of the kitchen

cupboards a few months back. Thankfully the former occupant of that skin was absent.

I must be getting jaded, as I didn't even bother getting a pic of it. There'll be more, I'm sure.

Here's a couple of the hazards around (and sometimes in!) my homestead.

post #107 snake (very venomous red tail viper)
