Unfortunately most Expats live in the BIG City; the other half live in the Capital. 

But it's great you're out in the boonies since that's where the most need is for teaching verbal English.....so that the students might actually say "Three" instead of "Tree" when you ask them what comes after "Two". 

Quảng B矛nh is in the middle/central region so even with any formal Vietnamese, you'll still have a hard time communicating with the locals.  Would be like growing up in the South...say Baton Rouge trying to talk to an Aussie.  Same language but different dialect.

No seriously, how about seeing if you can import some Americans up there?  How big is your school/place of teaching?  What does it pay?  Does it need additional teachers?

I've been looking for another excuse to head North.  Heard it's almost like a different country.
