It's a brand new year.Let us meet up and get to know new friends and catch up with familiar faces.This month gathering聽 will be held on a Saturday.
Details are as below

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Venue: Highland Coffee
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 181 Ham Nghi, , District 1聽聽(opposite Ben聽 Thanh market nearby the
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽petrol station)
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Time: 4 pm- 6pm

When you reached Ben Thanh Market , the Highland cafe is at the opposite across聽 the big roundabout nearby the petrol station.
Please go upstairs and look for "Welcome 大咖福利影院" sign.
Flash your friendly smile and say 'Hi' to everyone
Order your beverage and pay at the counter.

As usual , some of us would proceed to dinner together and聽 night out ^^
Location will be announce soon
Please bring extra helmet if you are coming with your bike .

I will walk from Le Thanh Ton st to Highland Coffee & should arrive bout 5.30pm. I don't have a bike. Should I bring a helmet to ride pillion with someone?

MONTHLY GATHERING

Date: Saturday 16 January 2016
Participation: just come and join us at any round, no advance registration is required
Details:
(i) Round 1:
- Time: 3pm-6pm
- Venue: High Land Coffee 鈥� address: 181 Ham Nghi Street, District 1 (opposite Ben Thanh market, please go upstairs, look for the sign, say hi to the group with your smile and join us)
- Offer: drinks, cakes, breads, sandwiches etc.
- Price range: 10k vnd to 80k vnd
(*) For those who drive motorbike, please bring extra helmet if any; for those who don鈥檛 drive motorbike, please also bring your own helmet if any

(ii) Round 2:
- Time: 6.30pm-8pm
- Venue: Ban M锚 restaurant 鈥� address: 24-26 Nam Qu峄慶 Cang Street, District 1
- Offer: steamed thin rice pancake rolled with BBQ pork, fermented pork roll, veggie (b谩nh 瓢峄泃 cu峄憂 v峄沬 th峄媡 n瓢峄沶g, nem chua, rau c岷); juice, budding etc.
- Price range: actual costs will be shared equally, up to 100k vnd/ person (including main course, drinks, dessert)

(iii) Round 3 (from 8pm till late): to be discussed amongst the participants

LONG HAI - BINH CHAU - HO COC TRIP (1 day trip)

Date: Sunday 24 January
Time: 7am - 9pm
Estimated cost: from 700k vnd - 1 mil vnd (actual costs will be equally shared amongst participants; personal costs will be paid individually)
Schedule and activities:
- 7am: gather in front of High Land coffee - 181 Ham Nghi street, District 1 (park motorbike at Saigon hospital parking lot); a rent van will pick us up (Mercedes sprinter or equivalent)
- 8am-9am: breakfast on the way
- 9am-10am: reach Ba Ria market, buy fresh seafood
- 10am-12pm: enjoy cooked seafood at Long Hai beach
- 1pm-2pm: van takes us to Binh Chau-Ho Coc
- 2pm-6.30pm: enjoy swimming at the beach or swimming pool, mud bath, egg boiling, massage at Binh Chau-Ho Coc, small games etc.
- 6.30pm: departs back to HCMC
- 9pm: reach High Land coffee, tour ends

Thank you all for coming . It is always great to meet new friends and catch up with familiar聽 faces. Over 20 attendees came from 8 different聽 countries . We had a good time chatting then proceed to dinner. This time we found a great place where we stack up the plates after we eat them.....great fun. See how many plates we ate? Thank you Nathan for picking up the bill. Coffee on us the next time.
Round 3 .We went to 17th saloon for a great live performance and a drink.
Hope to see you guys next month. We will also having聽 out one day trip to beach and hot spring pool next sunday.
