goodolboy

Goes to my heart to see & read about Vietnamese people who do care about their wildlife (all be it a very small minority) other than to be used for some rich persons dubious medicine or aphrodisiac!

I'm so cynical my first thought is, oh no, Bui Vien again?  :/

Thanks for positive news. I didn't even know there were any protected areas in the country.

Not obvious from that link but the organization is svw.vn

You will read in their news lettet its a constant struggle for them even in the protected area but as in most of the world its dedicated people like that fighting the battle at the front that at least try to make a difference.......are they fighting a losing battle?? well only time will tell & dont suppose I will live to see the outcome but can do my little bit to support them financially to keep the good fight going. :/
As for Bui Vien, even the wild life there are struggling to survive during the Pandemic......will they become extinct....I doubt it, they are life's survivors.
