What's the end use?

I have a loft with a balcony and stairwell that I want to enclose to be air conditioned. I thought this might be an easy and cheap material to use.聽 Will worry about appearance later.

I suggest you face it with Gyproc/gypsum board/sheetrock to reduce fire risk. You can also get the steel studding here.

I know a place in Cho Lon but given the difficulty in transportation, I will look for a source nearer Q1.

I can do drywall and studs but want to minimize my time and money spent on a rental unit.

I want to enclose a spare room to rent out with a material that blocks air and sound.

Am looking for an accordian style sliding door commonly used as doors to bathrooms here, also.

If renting use white foam and "construction glue" (in the big tubes you use with a handle) to stick boards to wall and the Gyprock to the foam. Dead people aren't worth taking short cuts for.
