Nice to meet you. Are you come along? For work, business or travel?

You may want to try agoda.com as I use them in my travels and find the information relevant.

Hi,

Maybe you need to see the map where you are going to stay (in which street or district of city?)
with 200$/month you can find a suitable room, fairly difficult for an apartment.

nice day!

Greetings and welcome.  Saigon is a wonderful place to live. Shared accomodations from $100 to $300 per month.  The western appartments in D1 are expensive.  D7 a nice 1 bedroom will be $300 - $400 per month. I rent a studio in D3 for $200 a month on a monthly basis.  Most places want 6-12 month lease with 2 months security deposite.  There are nice rooms on a month to month.  (All prices in usd)

Which places are friendly for foreigners? I saw here that almost all the foreigners are talking about D7 and D1 as foregners friendly and didnt see anything about the rest of Saigon

Was staying at D1 during my stay in HCMC.
I found that area has easy access to go around.
But i was staying there for short period only, less than 2months so don't know much about the other area. Only know D1, D7 and lush (which also in D1) :D
Maybe you can try Bui Vien st. at D1?
Good luck!

terumi

Hi,

Bui Vien area is the place where was a lot of foreigner living.
It is good place for start discovering Saigon.
After that you go to D3 (near D1), D7,D2 where foreigner also go.
Then after 2 months to get know people and culture by making friend and ask for their experience, you may know where to live next in saigon.

welcome to Saigon and goodluck!
Cheers
