So far I have visited Victoria Clinic. Their doctor consultation cost is 550,000vnd but after 8 pm is more. The medication is about 150,000 vnd. Service is above average with english speaking doctor.

This year is 2017 and Vietnam is not some backward 3rd world country. There are many quality medical facilities in every District. The speed and efficiency here is SUPERIOR to the US and Canada and at a bargain price.

Update on prices

I made enquiries yesterday (3 Feb 2017) at International SOS and Columbia Asia Clinic, both in Dist.1

International SOS charges USD100 for initial consultation by a GP (not a specialist).

Columbia Asia charges VND 920,000 for the same service.

Personally, I think that Intl. SOS charges are far too high. Also, having had a few experiences there, I think that they try to sell services and tests/checks that are not necessarily relevant, just to increase the final bill. However, this is rather common practice here in VN, it has to be said.

P.S. Intl. SOS in Saigon is just a small clinic, not a hospital. It can only provide an initial consultation, then it will send you to a proper hospital, if necessary.

Go to one of the better VN clinics or hospitals. SOS is nothing more than a money making enterprise, I went once and once only, never again.
