We will be having a gathering for this month and hope everyone would be happy to do some friendly networking .
Details are as follows:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Venue: Highland Coffee Ham Nghi聽聽聽聽
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 68C Pho Duc Chinh, District 1聽聽(opposite Ben Thanh market)聽聽聽聽聽聽
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Time: 1.pm-4pm(come anytime)

If you are new...you should be able to find Ben Thanh Market while Highland cafe is right opposite the market and the big roundabout..Please go upstairs and look for "大咖福利影院" sign on table.
Please order and pay for your own beverage at the counter and all are welcome. .

Luckily, I don't have class on this Sunday

. Last Sunday and next Sunday was/is busy teaching all day.

Yeah, I hope so. I forgot I teach at Sunday morning. If I am still fine until Sunday, I will be there .

Why sit in a coffee bar for 3 hours?
Why not go to a park or fishing or something more outdoors?
We are not all yuppies.

Hi Richard,

Right, we can sit on the 23/9 Park opposite to Ben Thanh market or Le Van Tam park on Hai Ba Trung str. I love enjoying fresh air. Why dont change for new place, Richard?

Richard is not in Vietnam now, he is little busy, so he can't reply all your comments.

I'll be there. I do agree that a park would be nicer. Sounds like the Starbucks kinda place I'd never set foot in normally what with fine quality coffee, which I love, on every corner for 10,000.

聽聽 Hopefully, its a open front Viet spot with lawn chairs, cheap tables and great coffee. When I want good food or coffee, I always look for dives that are full , cuz' you know the people aren't there for the ambiance. There's something good in there for sure.

聽聽 Anyhow, its right up the road, so see you there. Perhaps one of the things we could talk about is better locations as there seem to be many with opinions.

Hi Everyone,
I'm sure gathering at the parks is great. I would also encourage anyone to organize any other activities other than this monthly gathering.聽 This monthly gathering is to help new expats n new friends to meet up in a place that is easy to find.Not worry about the weather too.
It is also big enough to accommodate more than 20 attendees.聽 We can always discuss our next plans for everyone here. Hope everyone understand this.聽 I just back to Hcm today and hope to see you all and more new friends this Sunday.

Thank you all for coming . We all had a great time chatting. This gathering will always be at the same place to avoid any confusion. Again ,there are friends who are new and told us how happy and easy to find this location. Sometimes is not the coffee or environment but the friendly people that makes the gathering successful. Great to some regular attendees too.
Hope to see you all again next month.
