Well, closer to $12 in the big city.聽 But, hey, he will get to work for 6 days a week without overtime, so he has that going for him...

Actually, I don't know if he could even get $12/day as he probably doesn't speak Vietnamese.

A simple answer of no it not worth it in terms of salary and working conditions would of been a better answer instead of the sarcastic one thanks for your help

It's not sarcastic.聽 It's the actual wage earned by Vietnamese construction laborers.聽 What did you think it would pay?

You didn't ask for others to make a judgment call as to whether it's "worth it" to work in construction here.

You simply asked about possibilities.

I think "Bud and Lou" did a great job of giving you the basic info...even if they did get a smile out of me.

Come on over soon and have a soak in the East Vietnam Sea.

That will toughen up your skin.
