Opinions about living in Monteverde, Santa Elena o San Vito?

Has someone lived or is living in one of this towns. Do you recommend it? Positive or negative experiences?聽 Thanks a lot.

I am not living there and have never lived there but I've been there so I would not recommend Monteverde or Santa Elena just based on the weather which is basically the weather of a cloud forest.
It's cold often, it's often windy, often cloudy, often rainy.
I personally would not want to live there but if you do like that kind of weather, maybe you would.

San Vito is a place that some people like, I've only passed through it once so can't really comment. (I've been to the Monteverde area several times and other cloud forests so I kinda know how that is...).

There is a member on here named ExpatDave. You might try PM'ing him as he's not posting a lot lately, but he just moved to San Vito so he would be the best person I know of to talk to about it.
