Sgrho1922spr09

Hello just got a home in puerto plata and we have a gas stove/oven. We know to light the stove when turn it on with a lighter, but does the oven operate as usual like it does in America or have to do something different?

There is usually a hole, about 1/2 an inch around, at the front and bottom of the oven when you open the door.  A match or BBQ lighter will do the trick.  If it's one of the cheaper ovens available here, that is.  Otherwise you'll hear the typical clicking of the igniter.Â
