Whats required to stay 3 months in Punta Cana

Asking for your knowledge we returned home from our place we just bought in white sands Punta Cana and love it. We are planning on returning for January to end of march. I know 30 days is ok but what is required for 3 months? Also can any of it be done online if yes can you supply links.

There is no 90 day visa currently.聽 You arrive on a 30 day tourist visa.聽 You can go online and pay the overstay fine but it's a real pain in the you know what. You are required to get a medical letter and prove you have the means to stay and support yourself.聽 OR聽聽Most people just overstay and pay the fine at the airport when they leave.

Both options are an administrative work around. Neither is legal or illegal. It's just what is done!

And the "legal" extending is the same price as over-staying, plus the fee for the medical and the hassle of providing financial proof.聽 And more than likely, still not legal to drive here.

Had a friend who pre paid on line , printed out a receipt , at the airport they didn鈥檛 recognize it and had to pay again聽 , no refunds from the online portal ,

There seems to be new option/requirements for overstays I have noticed on the DGM website. However, i would suggest just pay at the airport when you exit and they now only accept credit card
