Move abroad to DR

Hello,

I would really like to buy a property in DR and eventually move there from the USA permanently, within the next two years. I'm only 32 years old, but I am wondering if it's possible to work remotely with my current job and live abroad?

If necessary, I'm willing to try to find work in DR in the technology/software field. Are there resources for expats to find jobs with sponsorship in the destination country?

What steps should I take to prepare for something like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

You actually want to have remote job in US and live in DR!

Welcome to the forums.聽聽While many people do it,聽聽get work and then live here and work remotely, its not exactly legal!聽聽

You need to qualify for residency OR聽 get a work visa in order to聽 live and work here.聽聽Work visas are hard to come by unless you have a specific set of skills!聽 Maybe you have those?
