Desperately Looking for a Home for Rescued Dog

Hi everyone! Coming on here because I聽 really need help finding a home for this sweet dog I rescued in Santiago. I rescued her while I was on vacation and to be completely honest, it was more instinct than anything because I knew she probably wouldn鈥檛 survive if I left her there. She came from a really rough situation. A week later I went back to visit the area and found out the other dogs there had died from parvo, so I鈥檓 really grateful I got her out when I did.

The problem is I don鈥檛 actually live in the country, and for the past almost 3 months it鈥檚 been extremely hard trying to keep her safe and off the streets. I鈥檝e rented Airbnbs just so she has somewhere to stay, asked people for favors, and tried posting her everywhere on Facebook and Instagram with no luck so far.

Her name is Peppa. She鈥檚 a mixed breed girl around a year old and聽 kind of looks like a German Pointer mix. She is SO friendly and such a good dog. Loves attention, loves people, good with other dogs, and genuinely doesn鈥檛 have a mean bone in her body. She鈥檚 the type of dog that just wants love all the time, which makes sense because she probably didn鈥檛 get much of that before.

She鈥檚 vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and I鈥檓 also covering her spay appointment.

At this point I鈥檓 just hoping maybe the right person sees this. She deserves a real home so badly. If anyone is interested in adopting her or even helping me share her around, I鈥檇 seriously appreciate it so much.

I wish you and Peppa the best in your search. Dogs are, without a doubt, God's/nature's/ the universe's gift to humankind.

For many people, a variation on an old saying serves well, and those people are truly "Dog's Best Friend".

Parvo, the puppy killer, is truly a heartbreaker. If interested, you can read a post describing the rescue of my buddy, here. My GF (Vietnamese) says of him, "He number one son!"

Hope and prayers that you find Peppa a home. Fingers crossed.

Have you tried posting in Santiago Facebook groups? Or groups for other nearby areas?
