I'm in San Juan area. I don't want a car! A scooter or moped would be great. Does anyone know the
Laws regarding use of these? More important... where to get one. I've done internet search and come up empty.

There are dealers and a lot of used ones. Clasificados would help.
Check this and speak with these people.
Honda, Vespa, many others.

Probably the best way to get around in Old SJ - traffic is horrendous!

Same laws as a motorcycle. I will nor recommend for anything more than locally. Drivers are way to crazy for me to be comfortable on a bike.
