help: recommendation for English speaking realtor ASAP (San Juan)

Hi!

we are a family of 4 - my husband and I with our 11 month old baby and my mom and we are moving to San Juan in a few weeks and really need to sign up for an apartment large enough for us and at a safe and easy location (grocery store, hospital, etc.) We don鈥檛 speak Spanish yet and it would really help us out as this is pretty urgent and we have a reasonably flexible budget.聽

We鈥檇 really appreciate any kind advice and or recommendation on a realtor who can work with us to achieve this goal of finding an apartment ASAP.

I have THE BEST realtor!
She was referred to us from a friend who already moved to the area.
Not only is she very sweet, shes bilingual, fast (youll see what I mean when youre surrounded by people on "island time"). She knows everyone in the gated communities, but also has a true love for showing expats areas out of the gates that are truly beautiful. We purchased our home after 3 days of viewing other areas with her, she was the best!

Check out the online magazine called El Coqui of Rincon and you will find some bilingual Realtors.聽 Some are based in Rincon, Puerto Rico but work all over or know other great Realtors.聽 I've bought land and built a home as well as bought a home there and it's a great alternative to the busy San Juan area and also the safest town on the island... a lot of Expats live there, amazing Ocean sunsets since it's on the very western tip of the of Puerto Rico.

Hi who did you use for a builder ? Im looking to build in Aguadilla. Also how was the building process is it as bad as people say it is and was it more affordable then buying an existing home? Many questions hahaha.
