Traveling with f-card from greece to belgium

Hi, my husband has a Belgian F-card.


Can he take a flight from Greece to Belgium with only o F-card? We are married and I have the belgian nationality.


I heard that some flight companies do accept and other not..

If he not an EU Citizen then it is better to have his passport ready in case they ask for it.

F card is not a travel document. It is just a residence permit for the issuing country in this case Belgium. So he will not be allowed boarding without a passport
