Welcome to the forum.

I'm originally from the UK. I moved to Bulgaria in August 2020.  However, I keep a very close eye on what's happening all over Europe (especially the UK) Asia, America's  Australia and New Zealand.

I can tell you that the quality of life in the UK, is nowhere near what it used to be and has deteriorated rapidly in the last three and a half years, especially, but it has been deteriorating since 2010.

There are many reasons for the deterioration and it would be too long to list them all here, but the main issue is broken politics, which has lead to an over populated country and an horrendous cost of of living, along with poor services and a draconian policing system, that is moving towards a totalitarian state.  The violent crime rate has gone through the roof.   I cannot and will not recommend the country to anyone anymore.  It is little wonder I moved to Bulgaria.  I should add, I looked at and researched many countries - my original choice, back in 2014, was Chile, which I visited in 2016.  Other countries included, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Panama, Costa Rica and in Europe, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria.

I'm sorry to sound very despondent about the UK, but everything I've said is true and I have significant amounts of evidence to prove what I've said, both news stories and video evidence.  By all means message me privately, if you want more detail.

Whilst I agree with most of what you wrote, the UK is not overcrowded, just a lack of planning from governments.
