Lost receipt after submitting form to renew residency

Hello! This is my third year renewing my residency. I submitted all my paperwork last week, but I lost the small paper receipt they give you after submitting the paperwork. It has not been approved yet. How important is this small paper? Can I just show up once it's approved and give them my name or is the paper necessary to get my residency renewed?

No time for stress , Pepito.

Just appear at the local Migration office a 14 days or later after submitting the paperwork and show your passport. They will just need some more time to find your application.

Thank you so much, Vasilev.

This was stressful for a moment.

I read somewhere that I might need to report it lost.

It's better to know I can just present my passport. I also have my current residency.

Just as a follow up to anyone who finds themselves in this situation, immigration didn't even ask me for the little paper. I presented my previous residency card and passport and they were able to look up my case. I was approved 馃榿
