Buying a car in USA or Canada and export it to BG

Hey people,

Some time ago I was willing to buy a 鈥渄amaged鈥� car from USA (of course not a Citroen and other EU models).

Cost will be around 2k$ to ship it to Burgas or Varna.

But then what can be done in order to register it ?

Can someone give me a site or explain to me what has to be done, in order to drive it legally and of course repair it before ?

Hi eddyc,

you have to arrange these:

1. Customs clearing
2. Car repair
3. TechnoTest inspection - for USA/Canada cars
4. Technical Inspection and Registration
5. Third Party Liability
6. CASCO
7. Road Vignette
8. Municipal tax

that's all - Go drive it!
