New to forum relocating to Burgas

Hi, we've just joined the forum, as we are looking to relocate to the Burgas area. We are coming over in 2 weeks for a holiday and to view some properties. We would love to meet up with some expats for any tips and information.

Beware of estate agents聽 Debbie we were ripped off by one a few years ago. Also I believe the house prices have gone up a lot.

Welcome, Debbie! I hope you have a lovely time in Bulgaria. There are a number of expats in the area, both her and on Facebook groups.

As a Brit, unless you or Ian hold an EU country passport, probably the first thing to consider if you want to move full-time is what type of D visa you will use to get permission to stay longer than the 90 days per 180 non-EU citizens are allowed. Hopefully you've already investigated that and have a plan. It would be heartbreaking to find a wonderful property and not be able to live in it!
