An engineer looking for casual job in Copenhagen

Afshin445

Dear All,

I am new in Denmark, I have a higher education, but for me it is more important to find a job in Denmark ASAP to become an active member of this great society, in this way, I learn the culture, I learn the language and with time, it will be much easier for me to find a job within my field. At this moment, I am joining Danish language school.

I am a team player where I get a chance to learn with my peer colleagues where every individual is an inspiring force. I am an “open seeker‟ with “can do‟ attitude in the quest of learning from one curve to another. I am determined to deliver and contribute with integrity and commitment.

I also received a danish driving license and can work as driver.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Hi Afshin445,

I know how it feels, I was in the same situation 10 years ago, holding an engineering degree from abroad, which was basically useless here. Then I learnt Danish (OK, I finished language school, which was far from knowing how to communicate), finished an international bachelor programme and... back to basics. Cleaning, ironing, temporary job agencies (mind you, has some great offers)... Then I got a job that taught me what I didn't want to do, until the day I was headhunted on LinkedIn. I had to start the day after! I had the perfect job in an international environment using both Danish and English on a daily basis. Unfortunately, due to liquidity problems of this startup, I couldn't continue working there. I established my company on the first day of my unemployment. I really didn't feel like going through this job searching nonsense again.
My advice to you is to be active on LinkedIn and create a sound headline.
Also, feel free to add me as a connection:
It could be beneficial for both of us, and depending on what kind of engineering background you have, my connections (employees/recruiters/headhunters in the field of construction) might find your profile interesting.
Good luck with your job search!
