I鈥檓 an amateur birdwatcher myself and one of the times I visited Denmark I spent a few hours in the National Park Vadehavet southwest of Ribe. A great number of aquatic and migratory birds. And also, a number of different species from the ones I usually watch here in Portugal. I would highly recommend the Park

Migratory birds are indeed exciting to study, as they have fixed routes, e.g. and you can furthermore predict when the migration will take place.

Another interesting place to watch the birds is Vejlerne, an area located at Limfjorden:

It will be an even better sight if you go there for the late summer/autumn bird migration.
