UK citizen moved to Denmark with danish wife

Hi, i have just moved to nyborg in denmark with my danish wife of 2 years.听 . Im qualified in electronics as a test tech. but 3 companies have told me that my qualifications are not recognised here. (strange considering my last job was testing turbine components for a danish company in a british factory) So that door is closed for the time being.

I was offered one job,but that was on a pig farm weighing pigs before slaughter and i'm a vegetarian,so that was a non starter!

Does anyone know of any temp agencies or warehouse/labouring/general dogsbody agencies听 where i can register?
most of the agencies i have seen have been copenhagen centric and leaned towards finance and that sort of thing.

im not proud and i don't care if i have to dig holes or deliver newspapers :-)

I suggest you browse through the Jobs in Copenhagen section and drop your resume in the work sector that you feel more comfortable doing please

Most of the jobs on Funen are to found in Odense so I will suggest to you that you also search a job there.

The local papers might also be an idea.

In this week's paper (page 44) they are actually looking for a paper deliverer in 脴rb忙k, close to Nyborg.

What about Ikea in Odense?

There is also the possibility to send them an unsolicited application. I don't know whether it is only to sound welcoming (often for that reason), but you may try.

Hi Dave,

I totally understand your concerns and attempts. I myself am looking for a job and came upon the following agencies:

Hudson
Teamviaren

I guess when you write Recruitment agencies in Denmark or your town in Google, some good ones will come out. I did the same for Copenhagen and this is how I found the above.

Alternatively, I am trying the website , which has job postings all over the country and are from all fields. Not only finance and IT-related, which I also noticed dominate the market.
