Hi there I have been married for for a year and a half. My husband is Moroccan and I am British. My husband visitors visa was rejected. We don't want a spouse visa as he doesn't want to life here. His friends keep Saying because he is married to me he gets a visa just like that. I know this is not correct our is there something I am missing. Thank you so much for any advice.

Visitor visa for a moroccan national is extremely difficult.

Have you considered fianc茅 visa?

Please contact me and I can provide my service I am a qualified immigration officer
I hesitate to suggest that Ikrah is a scammer, but I have difficulty believing that someone who claims to be a qualified immigration officer would recommend a fianc茅 visa to the OP when she states quite clearly that she is married.

Regrettably UK immigration officers seem to think that their role is to reject visitor visa applications from anyone who does not have firm roots (such as property ownership) in their country of origin. The lady who is now my wife twice applied unsuccessfully for a visitor visa to come to the UK to spend time with me and was refused supposedly because she had failed to convince immigration officers that our relationship was genuine. However, they also sought to argue that if our relationship WAS genuine, she would have no incentive to return to her own country after the visitor visa expired. Very much a case of the Home Office trying to have their cake and eat it.

My only suggestion is that you will need to provide proof of your husband's need to return to Morocco but, as I say, unless he owns property there, that may be difficult.

Hi there I didn't take any notice of the lady about the immigration. We provide my husbands proof of his property and our genuine marriage. His friends now say I can do it this end but I don't know what to do. Thank for your advice.

I don鈥檛 think his friends are correct. The rules are stated here: and include the instructions

鈥淚f you need a visa, you must apply online before you come to the UK.

As part of your application, you鈥檒l need to book an appointment at a visa application centre to prove your identity and provide your documents.

Allow time to attend your appointment, as the visa application centre could be in another country.鈥

The two visa application centres in Morocco are in Casablanca and Rabat (see ) but the tls website says the Casablanca centre is currently closed due to Covid.
He has done all this and was refused. I just get fed up with his friends saying we are not married as his visa got refused.
