international health insurance in france

Need to purchase our one year of private health insurance for our french VLS-TS but every review I read they are all over the map with good and bad comments??

Has anyone found an affordable full coverage plan with a company that doesn't get terrible reviews?

Last one recommended was April International which may have changed names by now, and when i go on a read about them it really is useless.

Need to buy something this summer so could use some realistic input here.

I use ACS

affordable $857/12 months.

I dont know how they are with service because I havent had to fie any claims and hope to keep it that way.

We went with ACS and they were fantastic. Needed to change the policy start date a few times and they were great. No charge and fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend and thier prices were excellent compared to other policies we looked at.

@sharoncook2004聽 Hi Sharon, I'm just wondering if you went for the ACS Type E insurance? As that is the policy I am currently eyeing up. It would be great to know if that policy was accepted for your long-stay France visa.
