Uk nurse relocating to France

Hi ,

I am a nurse in the UK , I speak French fluently as this is my first language, I am contemplating relocating to France and work there as a nurse , I tried looking into the whole process and聽 having my qualifications recognised in France but I am completely lost with the process and don鈥檛 know where to start , I was advised I needed to have my degree translated first , I was wondering if anyone know about the whole process and where I can begin to have this transition (smooth) as it seems overwhelming

Thanks

To get a nursing job in France, you must hold a nursing degree, obtain a work permit by first securing a job offer, and demonstrate French language proficiency through certification. After securing employment and a visa sponsorship from your employer, you will need to register with the regional health agency (ARS) to practice and may need to take additional exams depending on your qualifications.

I would find a job and then speak to the hospital administration team, who will be able to assist you. As there is a shortage of healthcare staff across Europe, you shouldn't find it hard providing you fulfil the requirements.

Good luck.
